Riad Bel Haj is located in the Ksour neighbourhood of the Medina, close to the Place Jemaa el Fna, the Koutoubia mosque and the souks. Ksour is one of the chicest areas of Marrakech with a great array of boutiques, riads and places to eat. All areas of the Medina are easily reached on foot and the shops and restaurants of modern Marrakech are only a short stroll away to the west in the Gueliz district.

The riad is situated in a charming derb, approached through a quaint archway. The derbs and alleyways of Marrakech can be daunting at first but are very safe for travellers and Derb Moulay Abdellah Ben Hssaine is particularly bright and easy to find. The nearest vehicular access is at Bab Ksour, only 50 metres from Riad Bel Haj.
