But Prince Charles and Camilla  visited on 4 April; and, despite the bombing in a cafe in Marrakech on  28 April, there are no Foreign Office restrictions for Morocco – the  incident was attributed to an Al-Qaeda splinter group, rather than a  ground-swell of anti-tourist feeling”

In  brief, Marrakech is safe and certainly a lot safer than London in the  UK. In the aftermath of the bomb in Place Djemma El Fna, there is  heightened security in the whole of Morocco. In addition, the vast  majority of the Moroccan population are appalled by the incident and are  regularly marching in support of peace as a result.
